Patti, who is the first-ever Poet-in-Residence for the Anne Arundel Food Bank in partnership with PoetryXHunger, will be reading during a fundraiser event.  From the website:

“We invite you to join us under the big tent at our Feeding Hope fundraiser on May 19th, 5:30pm – 8:00pm at Homestead Gardens, Davidsonville. Your participation will help ensure our neighbors in need have access to free, nutritious food.

Feeding Hope is a fun, casual affair featuring sumptuous food from the area’s finest restaurants and caterers, a stellar array of fine beers, wine, specialty cocktails, and live music courtesy of the Dan Haas Band Trio. The event will honor exceptional volunteers and contributors whose generous support helped Anne Arundel County Food Bank meet the unprecedented increase in food assistance requests throughout the County this past year.”
