Join us for our Second Sunday Salon Series at the Oca Mocha cafe in Arbutus, MD. For September, our feature is Brenda Bunting. Patrice Smith will be hosting this event. After Brenda reads and does a Q&A with Patrice, we will take a short break and then have an open mic.

Brenda’s bio:

Poet and Spoken Word Artist, Brenda Bunting is an award-winning orator and advocate for racial, social and environmental justice. Regularly published online and in print, Brenda promotes the therapeutic use of writing poetry for mental and emotional wellness and healing from traumatic events.

Her latest work is Poems of Love and Violence In Between Life and Death, 1st and 2nd Editions.
