SUMMARY:Second Sunday Salon Series - Robert Jenner
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Second Sunday Salon Series at the Oca Mocha cafe in Arbutus\, MD. For October\, our feature is Dr. Robert Jenner. Janet Walenta will be hosting this event. After Robert reads and does a Q&A with Janet\, we will take a short break and then have an open mic. \nNote: the Salon Series time has changed. Events will now run from 1:00-2:30 pm. \nRobert’s bio: \nMy name is Robert Jenner and I received my Ph.D. in History from the University of Maryland in 1995 specializing in Diplomatic and Modern U.S. History. I hold an MA from the University of Chicago and a BA from American University. I taught for 10 years and then worked in documentary film. My first book\, “FDR’s Republicans”\, was published in 2011. I have been a professional lecturer for the last 10 years and my most recent book is a compilation of those lectures and titled: “25 Short Histories of Interesting People\, Places and Things.” \nRobert Jenner
